Where it all started

***Disclaimer***
I have no before pictures of these because at this point I was just having fun.  Sorry I know before and afters are alot more fun.

Ok here goes...

My Terrible Terror...

Just kidding...how can anyone not love that face?

This is my 4 year old Austin who is in LOVE with Lightning Mcqueen.  He wanted a Cars room.  A little history...we live in an old, old house with wood paneling in every room (UGLY)!  So we paint over them...after spackling all the groves...what a looong job.
Anyhoo...we painted Austin's room red (what else for a Lightning Mcqueen fan?).  Only with the faint wood paneling lines and the red paint...it looked like a barn!!!  So we got somes Cars boarder and I made some cute curtins with tan Cars fabric...which broke it up a little.  Then I thought what else can I do?

So this is what I did!

and this...

Fun or What?  His bed was painted blue and he has a yellow tv stand too...which I have no picture of (again sorry). To do this to his existing furniture only cost me $32!!!  After my friend's little girl saw this she wanted one too.

So for her...Tinkerbell (aka Stinkerbell in my house of 4 boys!)
